My childs school has a Broad Brim hat policy. I purchased one of the offshore water hats for my son. He initially didn't like it because it was different but now he says its the best hat because all the other kids hats fly off in the wind and choke them but his hat doesn't. When they go to swimming lessons in the ocean his hat is the only one that stays on the whole time. My husband was so impressed with my sons hat when body surfing he has now purchased one as well.
